veno leigertwood's wife

I would love to see what you think of the wife. i can't read her at all. There might be evidence of a motive with a $2million life insurance policy, but his murder remains unsolved. She is absolutely a cipher to me. Thanks!

EVE,
you know the mother personally???? and how did u know she was the second beneficiary. was it in the newspaper. the mother does not want blood money. she would never give her son up for money. unlike raven, who would benefit from this money. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!!!!! -

The mother is a horrible person. And she's the second beneficiary on the insurance policy. I think she was framing Raven for his murder. She would know how to do it, being a COP and all. And the sister is a halfwit.

I completely believe that Raven had absolutely nothing to do with Veno's death. While I empathize with his family and their desire to rationalize or give purpose to his sudden death, nothing about it really points to Raven. She too, lost someone significant, perhaps even more significant in her own life. Instinctively, people "look" for answers when death occurs unexpectedly. His family needs someone to blame and the person they chose happened to be her.
Recently, I lost my son, and in our haste to find the reason for his death, we immediately began blaming everyone including ourselves for not protecting him. That's one of the things Veno's mother said when speaking of herself. The sister pointed out that Raven discussed what Veno's wishes were in the event of his death. She asked hypothetically why her brother would be talking about his death to stregthen her argument for Raven's "putting out a hit" on Veno. Sadly, your wishes, are indeed something you discuss when you are buying life insurance. That's why!
My personal theory is that someone had a problem with "Cop Mom"... perhaps a family member of someone she'd arrested previously, or worse someone she'd shot in the line of duty. Who knows? She doesn't strike me as a "nice cop". I certainly wouldn't want to run into her on the street. She really strikes me as the type that would really "lay down the law"... no breaks from her. Not that that justifies, in any way, the murder of her son. The best way to get revenge on any mother, is to target her child. In this case, it would be fairly easy to figure out who to target. "Leigertwood" is not a very common last name at all, particularly for persons of African descent in the States. I'm speaking as a black woman born and raised in the states, with a pretty common last name. Really all I'm trying to demonstrate is that, if you think long enough, you can theorize about anything and come up with what YOU think is the answer. Everything I've said about someone having a beef with his mom is baseless speculation, and pretty much everything the family has said about Raven is also.
As for our family, and our son, we don't have answers, and we may never. No matter how badly we want them, we can't make them up. It's not okay to destroy someone else's life so that you can feel better, without the facts. Everyone is spending so much time saying what she said immediately following his death, she really may have said some of those things. She too, needed answers.
Until the cops come to your door and inform you of your son's, husband's, wife's, daughter's killing, you will never understand the flood of emotions that rush in. So many things were said, felt and thought, in the days that followed my son's death, I can't begin to tell you. What I do know, is that I wanted to die and at the same time I felt so numb, and I was so shocked, that at points I'm sure many folks thought my reaction was "inappropriate" or even "insincere". I too, could have been considered a "person of interest" in the matter of his death, if he hadn't been killed nearly 3 states away. He was at home, in his bed, woke, showered, and left for school that very morning, just like had done every morning for years before. There was one difference, he left 20 minutes early... would it have changed anything if I had asked him why he was leaving early? It is so very true, that your whole life can be changed in the blink of an eye.
Raven, you, Nicole and Leigertwood family have been in my prayers since the show aired originally. Please stay strong.
