Did anyone catch on the 911 call where he says that her purse and car are at her house early in the call, then when the dispatch asks him if he is at her house he states he is on his way there now! Then he states the only things missing is her cell phone! If he wasn't at the house how would he have known what was missing?

John lived right down the street from Katelyn, literally one street away. It was probably a 5 minute walk or a minute in the car. John drives a red Ford Focus.

For some reason I can't stop thinking of the murder of Kira Simonian by her husband Matthew Gretz. http://www.startribune.com/local/west/19476059.html He had this same super-calm demeanor. In the days after her body was found and no one was charged friends and families defended him fiercely and he feigned confusion and grief. I hate to say it, but I see the same behavior here. Just compare and contrast how her father behaved at the church service with his behavior. I don't like it.
It's also interesting that there was a text "conversation" after he claims he left about burning documents but her phone is the only thing missing? Could he have had that conversation as a cover? I supposed cell phone records would show if the cell phones were near each other during that communication.
Does anyone who is familiar with the area have any idea where he lived in relation to her? Does anyone know if the roads between her house and his have been included in the search areas? -

I had been wondering where her parents were...
Her dad speaks to the today show:http://www.wlwt.com/video/29012557/detail.html

(LG) - that's what I'm saying! It seems to make sense up until the whole burning thing...
Plus now there's all this nonsense that he lied to nancy grace about taking a lie detector or something? -
I don't get anything out of the 911 call that is leading me to believe he is suspicious, but when I watch him on video, he has some odd behaviors that are not conclusive, but flag me. I am interested to watch more of him.

What Amanda? I don't have a shredder either. So when I get junk mail and documents I'm done with I just go outside and make a big fire and burn them. That's odd? You don't do that? (I'm heavy on the sarcasm here)

also after watching this video: http://www.wlwt.com/r/28919291/detail.html
It does seem as though (toward the very end) the reporter asks him again what they were talking about that night and it takes him a while - plus he seems to be swallowing during this pause.
I'm not sure, though - it does seem like he is being very specific - and his story seems to make sense except for the burning documents part.
- he does seem to be avoiding eye contact though

I noticed that too. I thought he was completely innocent until I heard him say "I know it hasn't been 24hrs". I don't know what it was. Like an unnecessary qualyifying statement maybe? Not sure. Just didn't feel right.

http://www.fox19.com/story/15295662/police-release-911-call-reporting-katelyn-markhams-disappearance
(911 call from her fiancee')
It does seem odd that he calls before it's been 24 hours and also states that he "knows you're not supposed to call before it's been 24 hours"Also - he says something about "questionable characters" being at some festival near her home.

Very interesting. Carter seems
Innocent but is a likely candidate.
Although has been reported as talking about
Weed in the past tense and is burning some of her documents. -
