Kienan Hebert's parents
Kienan went missing from his home in the middle of the night earlier this week. He was brought home in the middle of the night last night. After viewing the parent's plea for his return the behaviour of the mom sees really odd to me. and the news story this morning after the return. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/story/2011/09/11/missing-boy-found.html?cmp=rss#.TmzPMleaupd.facebook

We don't know what happened behind closed doors. The police may have had evidence or suspicions that the boy was safe and Paul could have known that he was going to get his boy back. That may have altered his behaviors.

From this video at 3:17:
Paul Hebert says, "Kienan can't speak, so he can't tell us who you are."
Now go back to this video:
At 1:35, Hebert says, "He likes McDonald's food. He calls it Happy Donald's." Remember that he said Kienan can't speak. This video came first.
Also at 0:10 to 0:13, Hebert smiles. There are a lot of subtle things in this video, like shaking his head. The whole video tells a story.

Another red flag at 0:50 when a reporter asks if he knew that Mr. Hopley was living in the area, and that he was dangerous. "No, we uh, you know, Sparwood's a very friendly atmosphere, and dangerous people live everywhere." The neighbors in this new subdivision told reporters that they knew Mr. Hopley was there. Mr. Hopley was well known in the town, most recently for his involvement in an assault at the library. News travels in small towns. Everyone seems to know who he is. How is it that Mr. Hebert lived in town for more than a year, and had relatives there, but didn't know? Truthful or not?

Regarding the clip at http://ca.news.yahoo.com/video/canews-22424922/missing-b-c-child-worries-family-26559873.html#crsl=%252Fvideo%252Fcanews-22424922%252Fmissing-b-c-child-worries-family-26559873.html
The father shows no emotion you'd expect to see if his son was actually kidnapped!! He smiles at the camera, he says I feel sick, etc. but he doesn't look sick, or strained, or worried! He mentions his child with the 3 heart surgeries and then says and "now we have to deal with a child who's kidnapped (to be kidnapped)...he also could be lost"...marker 1:14 huge flag to me. When asked how he felt when he saw Kienan was not in his room in the morning he shrugs his shoulder and purses his lips up. 1:51. He also does not say how he felt, just says" like any parent, it's not a funny feeling"

Common sense tells us that locking doors is basic safety when there's a sleepwalking child in a house. What if the child had met up with a cougar or bear in that mountain town? What if he had wandered out during a cold winter night?

If you watch the video the mom actually says that she will likely stop locking her doors in the future??? Really??? After your 3-year old was abducted??? I would be locking up my place like Fort Knox!!!

One more thing: why would the media tell us at the outset that the family was new to town, and had only moved there four months ago? Then they changed the story to say that the family had been there nine months. In fact, it is apparent the father has been living there much longer, and has extended family in the area. Why the incorrect information, and does it matter?

Another link to the updated story. Suspected kidnapper has been caught. No charges laid but he is due in court today. Even from reading the comments from readers, I realize there's more people out there that found the parents reaction to their son's abduction really odd. -

At the 2:13 mark, a reporter asks the father who he works for. He doesn't answer. He is works as sales director for the developer of the Vantage Point subdivision where his son was abducted. The subdivision is new.
There is a trailer park bordering the subdivision, where the man who abducted the boy was living. Someone with the same surname as the parents of Kienan Hebert lives in that trailer park. I don't know if it's a relative, but a news story today said that Mr. Hebert worked at a local hotel in the past, and that his mother is the bartender at the Legion. The property where the suspect lived was described in the media as "ramshackle" and strewn with vehicles.
