Mark Redwine
Mark Redwine's interviews about his missing son about give me the creeps right from the first second before he even starts talking, and it gets worse from there:

Mark Redwine's first on camera speech at Vallecito Lake by the Durango Herald, about his missing son: Mark talks about him in the past tense. No parent who is holding out hope for the return of a missing child speaks of their child in the past tense.

The one thing I find interesting is the language that is used. He talks of Dylan in the past tense "He was the light of my life and he meant everything to me" and changes tenses in the interview, this could be from the mixed emotions going through his head as it is a very emotional time, however I do find it interesting.

No, it doesn't. There are a lot of myths out there. Head shakes are very important, but they are very nuanced and it isn't that simple, unfortunately.

What do you think about how he is shaking his head as he's saying, "We're doing everything we can to help find Dylan..." does that body language indicate that he isn't really believing what he's saying? It's around the .32 mark in the video.
Thanks!

There is nothing in this video that supports either honesty or deception. The laughter at the beginning may throw you, but people still feel emotions in missing person's cases. It's normal and natural and through the rest of the interview, his emotions were consistent.
