I would like for you to review a video of Drew Peterson's step daughter. She is co-writing a book about the abuse that she suffered when she and her Mother (Vicky Connolly) lived with Drew. At this link you will find the video. I find it odd that when they ask her what she thinks about Drew, she tells them that she thinks he is a jerk, etc, but the whole time she is smiling. If he really was such a jerk and abused her and her mother why would she smile about it.

I do not know if you have been following this case. But Robert was staying with his Mother when he went missing (and the mother's boyfriend). Both of these people have criminal records. Father has custody since the mother was convicted of cracking her infant's skull in 2008. The mother and her boyfriend are seen as suspects by many. 39 votesThe video doesn’t tell me much because the two don’t talk. The child’s reaction doesn’t say much to be me because there are ways other than sex abuse that could cause this response.
I will say that I was surprised I didn’t see disgust or fear in the mother’s arms as she waited and handed over her daughter. Instead I saw positive emotions which was perplexing. If she is handing her daughter over to someone who abuses her daughter, you would expect her to feel very negative emotions. Why wasn’t she? It appears a young woman next to her (which I suspect is her sister) did have these emotions, which I would expect the mother to have.
However, until I can see either of these parents speak about this accusation, I will refrain from any and all judgments.

77 votesUnfortunately, I am not going to comment on the video of the child speaking nor the audio of the mother. This is a complex case and I would need to see one or both parents speak to give my opinion.

Just a blog idea, so curious about more inside into a psychopath. How do they lie, what seems to be going on inside of them? Why are they so charming?Why don't they feel remorse, empathy? Or do they?

3 votesYes, I have seen this, but this is AFTER her conviction. Please read about “high stake lies” on my blog. I prefer to read people before or during their trial and not afterward. After a trial, if a person is dishonest, the clues are much less likely to appear because the high stakes are gone. The stress which pinnacles the clues is over.
