Henri van Breda
A South African family were murdered in their home by a man with an axe. Two family members survived - 16 year old Marli who is in hospital with head injuries and can only communicate by blinking and her 20 year old brother Henri who had light injuries. Henri reported the murders to the emergency services - an audio recording was released of him making the call - he appears to laugh when he talks about the injuries. Here is the background story with the audio link embedded on the page. It's not a long clip but I'd love to…

Robert Meyers-husband of road rage killing in Las Vegas
A woman was shot and killed in an alleged road rage incident in Las Vegas. Her husbands behavior following the incident is a little bizarre. It was reported that he wanted the doctors to discontinue life support immediately, not waiting the recommended 48 hours to see if there would be an improvement. I watched video with sound off and he almost looked as if he had a slight smile.

Jessica Chambers
Jessica Chambers was set on fire in rural Courtland, Mississippi. This was in December. She survived long enough to tell the police something in hospital. But the police still have no idea who did it. This is an interview with the convenience store owner, Ali Alsani, who may or may not have been the last person to see her. He's been getting a lot of hatemail as he's from Yemen.

Herve Falciani
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUnI_HUUSSk This is a 60 minutes interview with a Swiss bank whistleblower, responsible for revealing all kinds of evidence of assisted tax evasion by HSBC. He sees himself as an idealist, others see him as a con man. Would love to know what you see.

Harper Lee's new book.
Do you think that Harper Lee's "new" book "Go Set a Watchman" is on the up and up. There is something about a few of the interviews that I have read that makes me think this is being done without Harper Lee's approval or even knowledge. The irony that it suddenly came to light after her sister died is just too suspicious. The publisher really does dance around the questions that just doesn't sit right. Here's the last article I read that just makes me uncomfortable.

Chris Kyle, American Sniper
I think we know he was lying about that argument with Jesse Ventura because Ventura won his defamation suit against him. Kyle seems to be a preternaturally great liar. He's told that story about Ventura many times. I can't tell that he's lying. What am I missing?

Too emotional of a topic. People will believe Darren according to their own belief systems, and the truth in this case won’t matter. People will not change their belief system.

Adnan Syed - http://serialpodcast.org/
It’s a podcast that comes out in weekly instalments, hosted by Sarah Koenig. For the past year, Koenig has been looking at an old, cold murder case. In 1999, in Baltimore, a young woman called Hae Min Lee went missing. After a few weeks, her body was found in Leakin Park. She had been strangled. Her ex-boyfriend, Adnan Syed, was charged with her murder, convicted and sent to prison for life plus 30 years. He has always protested his innocence.

Jay and Adnan from "Serial" (True Crime Podcast Series: http://serialpodcast.org/season-one/1/the-alibi)
Serial is a true crime podcast series. The entire series revolves around the murder of Hae Min Lee, and suspects Adnan (her ex-bf) and Jay (an acquaintance who testified against Adnan). It is currently up to the 7th episode and still going. It is all audio rather than video but features interviews with the major players and I think there is a great deal you will find interesting about it.

First Lady of Oregon Cylvia Hayes.
I am a huge fan of yours! Watching 1:20 to 6:20 of her press conference (confessing to an illegal marriage) here: http://www.kptv.com/video?clipId=10674622&autostart=true -- I think I detect some slip-ups at 1:25, 4:25 and 5:40 but can't tell if she's truly crying (maybe in the Q&A)? I'm concerned that she isn't telling the truth and that our Governor, whom I've voted for in all previous terms, is also hiding the truth about knowing about her past (and I believe one of her slip-ups indicates that's the case). And while past personal issues may not reflect on current state, she is also…

Exclusive: Family Remembers Slain Journalist James Foley
Hi Eyes,
Katie Couric of Yahoo News did an interview with Katie and Michael Foley 2 months ago. A video of their brother being decapitated had been released 2 days prior to the interview. Katie Couric says: "First of all we'd like to extend our deepest sympathies to both of you and your entire family. I think it's hard for all of us, Katie and Michael, to imagine the pain you've been going through." But James Foley's sister Katie is smiling. She continues laughing during the interview and Michael is smirking. Are they lying and if yes, about what? Jump…

Pamela Phillips
She was convicted, along with Ron Young, of murdering her ex-husband Gary Triano and gave her first interview to 48 Hours which aired yesterday:
http://www.cbsnews.com/news/gary-triano-murder-who-wanted-him-dead/
I think the jury got it right but the interviews with Phillips offer great red flags (e.g. "I'm very, very innocent!!") for those interested in detecting deception...

Johnny Webb/John H Jackson (Cameron Todd Willingham new evidence)
Frontline has run an interesting video about the Todd Willingham case (man executed in 2004 for arson/murder). The Innocence project has filed a grievance based on the recated testimony of a prosecution witness and allegations of misconduct by the prosecutor.
Video:
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/criminal-justice/death-by-fire/death-by-fire-an-update/The video has interview clips of both the jailhouse informant now recanting (Johnny Webb) and earlier footage of the prosecutor now under scrutiny (John Jackson).
The whole clip explaining the current situation is about 7 and a half minutes. Timestamps to the interview clips are:

Kathy Griffin
Rumor has it that Kathy Griffin tried to secure Joan Rivers' job while Joan was in a coma. Kathy denies the claim - but I think she might be lying. I would be curious as to your input. Notice the first word she says is - yes! www.ora.tv/larrykingnow/Kathy-griffin-001-0_1mnof1prgsyk

Lloyd rayney.
A recent documentary has the most in depth interview ever of prominent lawyer, Lloyd Rayney whose estranged wife was murdered in 2007. The case is old but this information is new. He generally avoided speaking publicly until now and this is the first time "his side" of the story has been covered by the media.
