Dan Rassier
Sorry if this is a duplicate, not sure how this form works.

He is a person of interest in the Jacob Wetterling case. Jacob vanished in 1989 and DR's property was just searched this summer. Nothing was found but LE says he's still a POI.
I thought it was interesting he shakes his head no when he says they want the case solved and then there is something about his smile when he says he understands why people think he did it.
I don’t review old cases. I’m sorry. The stakes of the game have changed too much by this point, though I agree what he said was suspicious.

One more link, this one is older. Scroll about a quarter page down and the video is above the headline "Transcript". He wasn't identified in this video so his appearance is not helpful but there are a few quotes that are interesting. He says he didn't get involved with the search because he didn't want to waste time. Incredibly cold and unconcerned IMO, and how did he know it would be a waste of time?
He says he wants the police to figure out he wouldn't have been able to have done something like it, not that he didn't do it.

Here is another link, no video but a couple of interesting quotes from him.
He says "It's a bit of a relief, even though it doesn't answer too many questions," Rassier told the AP on Tuesday. "But it does answer the idea that Jacob could be alive and well somewhere out there. ...There's the hope, we all have the hope that he is out there."It's nice that he expresses hope for Jacob being alive but if I knew that I hadn't buried him on my property I'm not sure if I would become more optimistic about his chances of being alive when the police fail to find him on my property unless I suspect someone else might have done so. There are a million other places in which his remains could be.
