Stephen McDaniels is the only named POI in the Murder of Lauren Giddings. Her body was dismembered, torso found in a trash can in her apartment complex.
Google her name for more info on this case.
I would love to hear your opinion of McD's guilt or innocence.

FYI: since this request was made, he has been officially charged with murder. Very few details about the evidence has been released, so many still have questions. His family is contending that he's possibly being framed.

Hi Eyes for Lies! Many of us think so highly of your abilities to be able to easily discern fact from fiction.. And therefor would love to hear your true analysis of McDaniel.. Many of us feel so strongly that he is displaying characteristics, behaviors, mannerisms, and speech patterns of an individual attempting very hard to convince others of his "facts" of importance(I.e. Specific details intentionally stated with the purpose to mislead or misguide) To redirect suspicion and especially misdirect the investigation in steering it away from him..
I do realize however that you have very good reason for limiting the max of an audio/video clip for you to analyze.. But in this specific case I would plead that you make an exception of just a couple additional minutes of dialogue which is of extreme importance IMO for a complete and thorough analysis..
If you are somehow able to have the opportunity for which might be able to watch/listen to the full/complete audio/video of Stephen McDaniel I think it may offer a much better or clearer picture of his reasoning, his behavior, and choices that are made throughout the few minutes that he is documented both audio and visually.. When the 1st segment begins HE IS NOT AWARE that Lauren's torso has been recovered from the property.. His speech, mannerisms, behaviors are very keyed into him being heavily involved in his "friend" and neighbor missing and his interjection into that process of discovering her as missing and beginning stages of searching for where she may be.. Going into segment 2 IS OF EXTREME IMPORTANCE IMO AND WITHOUT ANALYZING THIS SPECIFIC PIECE OF HIS ACTIONS, REACTIONS, AND STATEMENTS.. Truly leaves the entire heart of the matter completely out of the analysis.. Stephen is told on cam that a body has been recovered near the parking area, near Lauren's car.. It is this reaction that I find to be the crux of the entire on cam view of McD.. His reaction.. His leaving the interview and seeming to shake his head sitting down and doing some very heavy heaving breathing, almost hyperventilates(viewed only from the back of him).. Noted that at that point he left the on cam interview and went in the ATT building to sit in A/C and better compose himself(an estimated 20 minute break).. To which he immediately returns outside to the reporters and resumes on cam interviews.. For the entire duration of minutes that is left throughout segment 2 and ending in segment 3 he appears to display a much different "person" with entirely different and almost opposite objectives from what was first seen throughout the entire first half.. He tells what are known to be bold faced lies referencing meeting her family "one time for a brief moment years ago in their first year of law school".. When fact is just 3 weeks prior to the interview he had spent larger amounts of time with various members of Lauren's immediate family(mom, dad, sisters).. Along with very obvious distancing of himself AWAY FROM THE VICTIM, Lauren.. Whereas all thru segment 1(prior to his knowing they'd discovered her body) he is very much interjecting himself into anything and everything Lauren..
Sorry to be so very longwinded but as I said there are several of us who think highly of your analysis and the truth speaks for itself(no pun intended..lol)in your record and percentage of just how many times you're right on the money with your opinions and view of what you are able to recognize and discern from these highly manipulative type of individuals..
I do hope that you are able to find a way to view the FULL/COMPLETE audio/video of McDaniel(3 segments that are spliced together in one full video) as I believe in this specific case that without the complete interview it is not an accurate analysis due to it missing core pieces of the dialogue and reactions..
Thanks so much for even taking the time to read and allowing us to voice suggestions and ask your opinions and views about certain or particular cases and/or individuals..
Keep on seeking the truth.. IMO it's the only chance we've got..
Thanks,

The video doesn't have any remarkable clues. He is an odd character so acting uniquely doesn't set me off. I can't rule him in or out by this video alone.

It's true, the Short Video (WMAZ) is of much better quality.
Here's where the two videos overlap:
Short Video: 0:00 to 2:07
Long Video: 7:23 to 9:26
* Short Video from 2:07 to 3:05 is footage not included in Long Video
* Discovery that body was found is in Long Video at 1:15Long Video (11:39)

I would use the full video they released.
The first segment (it's 3 segments patched together) is just under 2min.
It's the only video that shows him talking for a while "before" they mention a body was found. I think the before context and the reaction is important here, and also gives you the proper reference for viewing the other 2 segments, if needed. -
