Promoters of The Secret
Do the people here believer the lies and gobbledygook they are spreading? Sounds to me that what they are saying feeds on people's insecurities and a sense of need for a better life (not to mention sense of control when things seem to fall out of hand).
When it comes to Oprah, however, I believe the poor lady is a victim of the lie, much like many others, unfortunately :(... One of the things they say is that we create our reality and circumstances by the choices that we make. But that's not true, we do not control what happens to us based on how we feel. A child with Down Syndrome did not choose to be in that situation, nor can their parents "feel", by the Law of Attraction, their children out of that illness.
QUESTION: DO THEY BELIEVE WHAT THEY ARE SAYING?

I forgot to mention something, and I hope that the following is timely, suitable, and appropriate to say. I forgot to mention that if someone truly believes the idea that "we create our reality and circumstances by the choices that we make", and then something goes wrong, that person may feel, 'I somehow caused this.' That person may feel that even though it is not true, which is unfair on oneself.
