Lance Armstrong/Gavin Newsom Interview
Please review the Lance Armstrong interview with Gavin Newson from 2011 in light of him throwing the towel now with USADA and being stripped of his 7 titles. The title of the story, in case you need to Google it, is " Longtime witness against Lance Armstrong finally vindicated"(The Washington Post). But the real price is the video conversation Armstrong has with Newsom! You will find it about halfway through the text story:
Your thoughts.

He may have a biological edge -- I have read about that -- but there has to be others in the sport worldwide who would have that too, and would beat him, without question from time-to-time. I don't think the edge would explain all of his wins--not when medical technology today is employed to take people to new heights previously not achievable. If he didn't use those like everyone else, he wouldn't stand a chance, in my opinion.

I have a documentary called "The Science of Lance Armstrong" where they talk about how because of his illness, he has greater lung capacity or some such.
Did he fool the Nova film crew too? Or is it possible that his body naturally gives him an advantage?
I am not too interested in sports, But I do want to know if he was doping or if he has a natural advantage.
Because this could be a case of his performance being "too good to be true" and the officials got it in their heads to disqualify him at all costs. So let's see if lance is lying. -

Ref: The Lance Armstrong/Gavin Newsom Interview: The casual observer cannot claim to not be influenced by 20-20 hindsight in the wake of what can reasonably viewed as Lance Armstrong throwing in the towel ahead of an impending USADA. With that taken into account, it does appear Lance Armstrong fell short of taking a strong, categoric standpoint buttressed by strong emotions and cues - anger and outrage being two possibilities. He couldn't have had a more sympathetic interviewer than Newsom, but given that, all Armstrong could muster in his defense were a couple of political jabs and a droll recitatition of a standard factoid - the 500 tests he said he had passed. I am not too thrilled about appearing to be piling onto Lance, but I could not help noticing or getting the impression that he was almost telegraphing his throwing in the towel. Re-cue the mention of him having his back against the wall or being cornered. Something on a mental and emotional level says that he knew there was no way out of this one.
I will await your take on this. The video is on the left about half-way through the text:
