Bob Harrod's Daughter
Dear Eyes For Lies,
I'm a great admirer of your work, and would so appreciate it if you could take a look at a video that has me hypnotised each time I watch it, though I can't pinpoint exactly why. I'm afraid I wouldn't make it as even a wizard's bumbling apprentice - though I'd love to be.
I know you don't cover cold cases, but as this about Bob Harrod, whose case is about to air nationwide on ID TV's 'Disappeared', I thought I'd chance my luck. Dear Bob's case is bound to be at least a little hot once the show airs on Thursday, April 4th, 2013, 8pm and 11pm PT/ET.

Bob Harrod was an eighty-one-year old newlywed millionaire, who had just wed his childhood sweetheart from 60 years before. He disappeared from his Placentia, California home two days before his new wife was due to return from a trip back home to Missouri, and just before he could add her to his accounts as he intended. Bob's son-in-law was working in Bob's home that day, but the time Bob disappeared is unknown. This was in 2009.
The video shows son-in-law's wife (Bob Harrod's youngest daughter, Julie Michaels) on the morning after Bob's disappearance. She had travelled to the home to change the sheets on Bob's bed, and agreed to a spur of the moment interview. Here it is - the daughter's interview starts around 0:57 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RSV7Lhqqus
Many thanks in advance for a brilliant site, even if you are not able to look at the video,

Daughters and son-n-law are clearly responsible for this crime.

I think the daughters and son-n- law did it. It is very obvious.

Shouldn't the daughters and son in law have taken polygraph tests???

the son in law who fixed house had opportunity, but that doesn't mean he did it.

The daughters, I think, had their Dad killed by the son in law that was fixing the house up.

This is very old case, never solved. looked it from tv today I think daughters and son-in-law has something to do with it. In start of show they ask police to go in house to investigate if father is there why not someone of daughters first go check if father there? and son-of-law was fixing all morning in Bob's house so 1 of daughters knew Bob did dissapear. So why send police to investigate at evening.. after everything is cleaned up and fixed? for alibi that guy went walk and never came back? money smells in this case too much.

It does not take a detective to put this case together... the daughters have quite obviously disposed of their father, to inherit his money.... and the husband of one of the daughters came over the next day to do so called
Repairs on the house... hahahaha... c'mon investigators, do you need the people to lead you through this case or shall we wait another 10 years for no justice... there's evidence all over... find it and solve his and put those greedy daughters behind bars where they belong! -

I have followed this story from the beginning! I had NO DOUBT from early on in the story before it ended that those MURDEROUS BITCHES had "Disappeared"
their father all on their own!!!
All 3 of them! Who did what and how we may never know but just the fact that they could murder, dispose of and defame this wonderful man......their own father.....is like the worst of any Shakespearean tragedy ever written! These women are not human but ice surely runs through those veins! All of this done for money!!!!
Well don't worry, as they were capable of that then I have no doubt they will, if they haven't started to already, turn on each other!
Get a hold of John Lewin. He used to be a District Attorney out there and is known as cold case expert! That is what he does now, exclusively, with a few other top notch people in the field, they take on cold cases!! People need to know what happened to Bob and those women need to go to prison!!!
I am serious about this!! -

Just read a legal advice post that Vontelle had contacted. She was having trouble collecting survivors SS. They were suggesting her and Bob were not married long enough to quilify fort this. The daughter had him declared legally dead in 2015. Six years after his disapearence. The daughter tried to have him declared back to the date he went missing but the courts would not allow it. I find that really strange since he went missing that day not determined dead unless you knew other wise. Seems to me their scheming knows no bounds. Maybe by trying to change his date of death they thought they could keep Fontelle from collecting any money. I really do not buy their bs of having no clue how much money their dad had. Money turns some people into vultures. There is always one greedy person in a family but in this case it seemed to be the whole lot. I watched the interviews and body language speaks volumes. I have also seen first hand how money and inheritence can change some people.

When Fontelle was ringing Bob the night she found out he was missing, she got no answer, then almost immediately receives a phone call from Julie informing her that Bob was missing........I'd say Whatever happened to Bob didn't take place at the house and happened elsewhere late the previous night,at least 2 of the sisters hatched this murderous plot in an effort to thwart any more of their inheritance being whittled away on Bobs women,Paula trips herself up by trying to justify the sisters final meeting with Bob as just them being concerned that he was keeping his affairs in order,by trying to make her father out to be incapable of doing so,this is another lie, she's actually one of the worst liars I've seen on tv ever, she keeps raising her tone towards the end of her sentences, that's a telltale sign of a fucking greedy liar, just saying like

There are a couple comments on here refering to fontelle as an old hag n etc...those were OBVIOUSLY written by one or more of bobs nasty greedy bitchy as hell daughters! Its beyond obvious to any sane person with half a brain that julie n her hubby jeff killed bob....and im sure her sisters know it n approve!! ALL they care about is money. Never witnessed such greedy sickness, like vultures, as those sisters DEMANDING to see paperwork re their dads money!!!! Fucking hell but that was dusturbing...WHO does that??? And lying that he was demented n couldnt walk far yet everyone who knew him incl his doctors said he was sharp as a whip n walked a mile or more
daily!! Those evil kids will burn...im betting they are why bob was so depressed after losing his wife...he was left without a buffer from the witches!! -

The daughter Julie obviously knows what happened, watch her facial expressions n body language...she is trying very hard to appear concerned but is almost happy n bubbly n very insincere when speaking her love for her dad. Her hubby had the means to help her n clean up any evidence, n was a bit unhinged by the housekeeper arriving a day earlier than usual. My opinion is julie n jeff did away with bob, all to keep julies portion of her inheritance secure from bobs new wife. So sad. Greedy daughters n one greedy daughter sociopathic enuf to do something about it. Notice neither her nor her hubby jeff appear on the show Disappearance but the other two daughters do. VERY telling!

Greedy daughters. An 81 year old who lived by himself after losing his wife. Complained about feeling lonely and depressed, and what did they did? NOTHING. When someone special appears from the past and provides him with love and companionship, they magically appear to make his life miserable and to question every little decision he makes about HIS money. Pretty clear to me. Disgusting.

Bob's housekeeper said that in ten years she never saw him leave the bed unmade. The youngest daughter's husband claimed Bob was home when he left to get home repair supplies. It strikes me as inconsistent that he claims Bob was home & present until around 1:00 pm if the bed was unmade. It seems more likely someone arrived in the morning, waking Bob, who came to the door & some kind of altercation occurred. Fontelle has said she believes something happened in the upstairs bath, as there was some damage the son in law repaired. Investigators should spray luminal in the master bedroom & bath for traces of blood clean up.

It's also really shady how the family keeps saying he showed signs of dementia when his maid, doctor, etc. all said that was absolutely untrue.

I honestly think it was his daughter Julie and son-in-law Jeff who did it, after watching her interviews on disappeared. And I think the police know it and have evidence, but know it's not enough to convict yet. That's why the officer wasn't allowed to comment on what they did or didn't find in the house. I'm not sure if the other daughters were involved but they seem like nasty people anyway. But they should watch their backs, because if Julie and Jeff will kill their dad for money, they'll kill sisters, too.

Why would the daughter and son inlaw change his sheets and help him out, after the argument. And didn't they not speak too eachother for six months? Weird that they suddenly would help him out.
The daughters or son inlaw clearly did it!
