There is a family in Winchendon, MA, who's dog was hanged broad daylight. The mother seems very suspicious.http://www.myfoxboston.com/story.
First I would like to say I am Snoopy's mom,and I felt that I truly needed to post this letter, because there has been a lot of people who have posted negative unkind things about myself,my daughter and our family. So I want to explain so people might understand before they criticize and come to conclusion of their own and think they know facts that are untrue. For the people who know us,know we are great animal lovers, not only do we have our own loving companions but we have fostered as well on many occasions.I cant think of a time when one of my older kids didn't bring an injured animal home,or bring a stray home for us to care for. That's just the type of people we are.If you don't believe us, Facebook me, you will see our companions.I can give you references as well to all the animals I've fostered in my home.Besides all this let me tell you the story before you judge me.What I told was the truth,We had never let snoop out by himself, but it was wonderfully warm that day,so we took his crate outside and hooked his line to the dog house crate. Our plans were to eat supper out on our deck while snoopy was hooked to his line to play and enjoy the warmth. My husband gets home around 4ish and so I prepared supper as any night.I boiled potatoes, baked chicken, threw green beans in microwave and went about with preparing with plates, cups etc.Snoopy was whining to go out and being busy I asked one of the girls to put him on his line. They did it and I asked them when they returned what snoopy was doing, they stated playing with the leaves.I had time to mash potatoes, take chicken out and I did not hear snoopy so I asked the girls to check on snoopy. My ten year old said she would a few moments later I heard her yell to her older sister come quick snoopy is tangled.A few minutes later a blood curdling scream and I went running,no shoes even on my feet.My older daughter screaming Hes dead hes dead oh mom hes dead someone hung him. After that is just raw emotion, children screaming and crying my older daughter sobbing,me myself crying.I called my son to come home and my husband. While waiting for my husband to come home, my daughter wrapped Snoopy in his favorite blanket and never left his side. When my husband got home, he was completely distraught. He held Snoopy, patted Snoopy, and cried. He felt that the kids needed closure so he took Snoopy to the backyard and buried him. After that, I talked to the neighbor to see if they had seen anything. When she informed me that a man had been emerging from our woods at night, I called the police. Little do any of you know that because there had been emergencies that night, it took police about two hours to respond to our call. By that time, it was a little after 7:00pm.
Now if people wish to judge us I feel ashamed of them.Snoopy was the love of our life,he brought a lot of life, joy and love to each of us.
We are devastated to our very soul. What makes it even harder is empty bowls, his little toys, and never being able to have his kisses, watch him grow old with Pete and I,never seeing our girls grow up with him.It has left my ten year old with trauma, and fear.We are seeking grief counseling for all the kids.
Now I wish to talk about this donations issue.I have never in any way shape or form asked for any money; NEVER.I made a flyer to alert my neighbors and our community of what has happened.I offered a 100.00 reward, and that's because we are a family of six on one income, that's what we could afford. However if I had a million dollars in my bank I would have offered every cent for our snoopy.
When my husband posted the flyer on his Facebook, friends of friends of friends received it,we feel that was a good way to get the message out to our community and nearby communities,we never expected media to be involved, they showed up at our door one after another. No we did not call them for those who feel we did this for show. Now lets get back about the reward that everyone thinks we are collecting.Out of the kindness of peoples hearts they felt they wanted to help.In no way did we ever ask for anything. We felt uncomfortable because people wanted to send money,so we went to our police department to see if they could start a fund, they urged us to go to a local bank and start an escrow account.I did and we started it at Athol saving bank here in winchendon. We told people who wished to donate to please send it to the bank.No I can not take the money out,all funds go to the reward and whoever helps us crack the case will receive that money, however if no one steps forward the fund will go to the winchendon police to offset the cost of this investigation in memory of snoopy. To add to this the escrow does not have a checking account attached to this and athol saving bank is keeping record for us of who donates so that we may be able to thank each individual. To ensure this, I wish to say for those of you who have supported us,cared about snoopy,a personal thank you is coming from my family, for all those who think else wise I hope this enlightens you to become aware instead of spewing off. Please become informed. If anyone wishes they can email me or call me I will gladly explain. Now I must add we have had an intruder come into our property over the last few months, our neighbor has not only seen him at night lurking around but her son took photos. We have had cigarettes beside of my car on several occasions over the last few months including beer cans and garbage,we don't smoke or drink.and today a real hero stepped forward to inform us that almost a year ago a neighbor had her dog hung as well.So please Stop judging us as if we were horrible people,we are not. Our only goal is to find out who did this to snoopy, who is doing this to our family. We should not have to live in fear in our own home,to be afraid to let your children out to play in their own yard,to not feel safe in your home. Please try to put yourselves in our shoes,we are grieving, heartbroken, and feel unsafe.Instead of being mean why don't you offer a kind word,a friendly visit,a hug, because if this was you I know that's what I would be doing.
This is the letter from the owner of "Snoopy" from the story of the Winchendon family who's dog was found hanged in broad daylight in their backyard in the 5 - 10 minutes that no one was outside. There seems to be a lot of detail in what she was making for dinner and stuff like that. This letter is probably better than the Fox News interview.

Most probable case: It was more likely their son Joseph who killed Snoopy. He suspiciously went for a run when the pup was discovered dead. He was also nowhere in sight for the video interviews for the press. One person who knows the family told me Joseph is "not a good kid". And let's face it, he was tall enough and strong enough to pull this off. Mom Allyson knew but didn't want to confess to police. Joe would go to jail and no funds would come in from the public.

YOU ARE CORRECT: Allyson the mother IS and has been suspicious. NO ONE SHOULD BELEIVE ONE WORD SHE CLAIMS. She played the Winchendon Police and they bought her story.
It is obvious that someone in this family killed the pup and guess what? It gets better! Allyson asked for donations from the public to create a "reward" to whoever can nab the killer. Well folks, the killer was never found (obviously) and the Clarks never told anyone the police closed the case, thus allowing them to still collect. Allyson created a Paypal account as well as having asked the public to send checks to her own personal bank account.
Reason we say this is because there are way too many details and information that Allyson gives (or refuses to give) that do NOT make sense. A lot of inconclusive information from this family. Case in point:
A) Allyson told WBZ radio host Dan Rea during a recorded interview that they installed FOUR security cameras. But she informed someone else in law enforcement they installed TWELVE security cameras. Which is the truth Allyson? Your house is not that big. Don't bother asking WBZ to delete it Allyson because we recorded it anyway.
B) Allyson told Dan Rea also that her two little girls brought the pup out to tie him up BUT, there are at least three articles stating SHE was the one that took Snoopy out and tied him up. Who really took the dog out?
C) The Clarks eldest child, Joseph suspiciously went for a jog DURING the crime. But the part we don't get is, he told a reporter that he was a student at Arcadia U in Glenside PA. There was no spring break in April of 2014, it was a month earlier. We verified. So WHY WAS JOSEPH HOME? If he was taking time off, why didn't he say so?
D) Allyson kept changing her story on WHO would receive the donation reward money if the killer was not found. Her Facebook page which SHE DELETED A FEW MONTHS AGO titled "Justice For Snoopy" stated on the About tab that the funds would go to the "local Winchendon Animal Shelter". There isn't one. We checked. THEN she claims in an article it would go to the Police THEN she changes it to the Winchendon Animal Control. But we all know they kept the money. Fraud? Seems like it.
E) Allyson told reporters and Dan Rea that this crime "happened in 25 minutes!" Really Allyson? How did you now it took place in EXACTLY 25 minutes??
The Clarks had the pup for 7 weeks in doors and Allyson claims it was his very first time outside. This means that most likely the only people that KNEW the pup EXISTED were only the Clarks. They don't get real freindly with the neighbors as Allyson stated to reporters.
The father Peter is in the clear-he was at work. It could not have been the two younger ones as they would not be tall enough or strong enough to unravel the rope tied around the tree.
So Allyson, you need to cut the bullshit lying and just go to the police and let them know who did this. Because this will not go away for you. We know the pup made noise per Brittany's telling comment and was going to cost some money. We also know that you dumped your other pup, a golden retriever at a shelter right after Snoopy died. No reason given. And, we know the pup suffered a blow to the head which YOU never disclosed.
Give it up because this isn't going away.
