Jon Gosselin
Jon Gosselin suddenly "wants to be a father" and give his children a "normal childhood" after being axed from the new "Kate Plus 8." His facial expressions during this interview with Larry King are strange. Jon looks up and widens his eyes and lifts his eyebrows a lot, but it looks like bad acting to me. A few points of interest in this 11-minute video:
1:16-2:00. Jon wants to be friends with Kate; TLC producers told him he couldn't go out on the town. Really?
6:40-7:55. Is he really feeling guilty for exploiting the kids, or just mad that he…
0 votesI think Jon is mad he has been cut off financially by the show. He talks out of both sides of his mouth. I doubt that TLC is lying about him. Jon seems to be the one that does an about-face with many people on a frequent basis—always saying that others aren’t the ones being honest. Hmmmm…..

Rod Blagojevich

(and the rest of the interview if you want)
Former IL Governor Rod Blagojevich goes on the Daily Show and claims he was "selling" Obama's IL seat for political, not financial, favors, and that the wiretaps will actually vindicate him when they are fully released.

I'm sorry I couldn't figure out now to do the tiny url thingy. But here is a youtube of Makenzie on Oprah. I would love to know what you think about her revelation. I believe her but that's not worth much. I'd rather have YOUR opinion. Vid is just over a minute long.
THANKS!

I am having an awful knee-jerk reaction to this woman when I should be feeling sympathy and I do not know why. He is still missing 2 months later.Since then many lies and inconsistencies have been uncovered regarding their courtship 59 years ago. In addition, she is overly concerned with Bob's finances.
I really do not wish to sway your opinion so I just gave the basic details. I honestly want to know why I have such a negative reaction to a grieving old woman.
Thank you for your consideration.
3 votesNothing odd to me. She seems truly distraught and somewhat angry he is gone. However, to be more conclusive, I would need to see her talk more. This isn’t long enough or about critical enough details to say anything conclusive.

Elizabeth Shoaf
I saw this on MSNBC and didn't know what to make of it. Elizabeth Shoaf was kidnapped by Vincent Filyaw in 2006. She was interviewed for Dateline NBC in 2008. Her demeanor during the interview is baffling to me. I guess I'm just curious if it's the crime drama addict in me seeing things that aren't there, or if there's really something fishy going on.
There's a good clip of her being interviewed here (it's a short clip, 2 minutes or so, and it's just her and the interviewer): http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/23526304#23526304
And the whole episode is here: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23509095/
3 votesNothing fishy. She is a brilliant, smart young woman with a bright future!

Christie Prody interview
Christie Prody, OJ Simpson's ex-girlfriend, was interviewed on Good Morning America on 9/16/09. I'd love to know what you think!
3 votesI feel sorry for this woman. She looks like she is still battling her addictions, and worse she does not look happy at all, which she tell us she is.
To seek OJ out, knowing his past and then to know want to write a book about it, seems rather “gold diggerish” to me.

The Lying Experiment
Prof Wiseman, the author of Quirkology (which I'm fairly certain I saw you mention on your blog at some point, so I think you're familiar with it) interviewed a man and had him lie once and tell the truth once. Actually, he did it several times, but this is more recent and wasn't discussed in the book. The videos are posted here: http://quirkology.com/USA/Experiment_lying.shtml
I'm sure you can tell the difference quite easily, but it's a fun and interesting little experiment and a nice illustration of truth vs. lie in a more controlled setting. With most of the people you discuss…

Dawn & Chad Drexel & John Grieco
The case for missing spring breaker Brittanee Drexel seems to have gone cold. I would like to know if any of these people are lying about what they know. Here are videos to help w/it. There is one that is over 5mins but any portion of the video should suffice.

In the third video, I don’t see anyone named John Grieco anywhere. Who is this? Having some basic background info would help. See Comment section.
The mother appears honest to me…

Michael Vick's new interview, he is very apologetic yet his facial expresssions definately aren't
I caught some of this newest interview and wondered why he seems like he's holding back a big grin for most of it. I don't think he feels bad for what he's done and I think he'll say anything to get back in the game, what do you think?

Daniel Schuler
Schuler's wife Diane killed herself and seven others, including her daughter and three young nieces, in a horrific wrong-way crash on the Taconic Parkway last month. Recently released toxicology reports suggest that Diane was drunk and high at the time of the crash. Her husband Daniel insists that she was not a substance abuser (6:18) and that the accident must have been caused by an underlying medical condition, although she was behaving normally when she departed. He also states that they had no marital problems (12:10). Does he really believe what he is saying? The husband begins answering questions at…
9 votesHe seems to be convinced she didn’t drink, but I agree, there is no discussion about pot—which seems they might have done. They don’t want to talk about it nor do they deny it.
But there is a chance she was a closet alcoholic—maybe even due to the escalating pain she had from that abscess. Pain makes people do weird things. My college roommate swallowed a whole bottle of aspirin with a toothache and then realized what she did afterward and woke me up. She started trembling and losing it. I about died!

George Sodini
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2tcEwbO6ZA
Starts at 0:33
This is the man responsible for the recent PA shooting. I'm wondering if you see any tell-tale signs of disturbance--that we could all watch out for (this might be to vague, but the video of him is fascinating).
2 votesI see a lot of things that would have concerned me. Sodini is a very tense person. You can see it in his face. He gives strong indications of being someone who is very controlling. He had to have things just so. He was likely very anal retentive.
He also likely had a temper and those who knew him would be well aware of it. I also see lots of indications of anger and frustration.
For me, when I look at Sodini, I see a man who did not have the ability to read other people. He was unable to read facial expressions, emotions, or connect with other people because of it. He even says as much and I believe that this is true.
The world was a difficult place for him to navigate because of his lack of social intelligence, and that (along with a potential undiagnosed mental illness?)…

Darlie Routier (again)
Saw that you had declined this, but this linked video IS of Darlie (and her husband Darin whom many people also suspect) on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVTcVFTp-AM BEFORE her conviction, even before her arrest. It is of an interview conducted by a local TV station following the infamous "silly string video". They are even seen praising the police efforts to find the killer. The interview is between the 3:45 and 4:45 minute markers. Please reconsider. Thanks for your time!

Ed Swiderski from the Bachelorette
I loved your article on Wes from the Bachelorette! With all of the scandal going on now with Jillian and Ed regarding his cheating alleged cheating, I was hoping you would weigh in on this for your readers. Here is a link to an interview on today's GMA featuring Ed, Jillian and one of the former girlfriends: http://tinyurl.com/edonGMA8509
Is Ed telling the truth? Is the former girlfriend being truthful? Does Jillian believe Ed? Thank you and I love your site (and insight)!
Marla
5 votesObviously, Ed was playing the field and led a few girls on… that’s obvious. To what extent, I can’t tell. These are not “high stake lies”.
I believe Jillian believes Ed. Do I believe Ed loves Jillian? Yes. I think Ed was torn between his college sweetheart and Jillian, and Jillian won. It appears Ed leveled to some degree with Jillian, but how much, I don’t know.
